Raj Steel Industries

Raj Steel Industries is located at Plot No. 1S, right across from B-2 in the Dutch Industrial Estate. It’s a bit of a trek to get out here, but it’s a good spot for what we do. The estate is filled with other factories, so there’s always the sound of machines and the smell of oil in the air. Our building is a basic industrial shed with a concrete floor that’s seen better days. We do a lot of steel work here, so it’s never exactly clean or quiet. We’ve got the heavy machines on one side and the storage on the other. Our office is just a partitioned area in the corner where the noise isn’t quite as loud. We spend our days managing the production and making sure the machines are running like they should. If something breaks, we usually fix it ourselves. It’s a very hands-on kind of place. We don’t have any marketing people or a fancy sales team. We just do the work, load the trucks, and keep the records in our big ledger books. Lunch is usually eaten quickly so we can get back to the floor. It’s not the kind of job where you wear a suit. We’re usually covered in a bit of grime by the end of the shift, but that’s just the nature of working with steel. It’s a plain, honest living for us.
