New Tech Engineering Works

If you look for us, we’re on the 2nd Floor of the Geeta Complex on P.B Road. We’re right across from the Canara Bank. New Tech Engineering Works has been in this building for quite a while. Carrying heavy parts up the stairs can be a bit of a chore, but it’s what we’ve always done. The view from the window is just the busy P.B Road traffic, which never seems to stop. We do a lot of precision work here. It’s a bit cleaner than a foundry, but we still get our hands dirty. The workshop has several different machines lined up against the walls. We spend our hours checking dimensions and making sure everything fits together like it’s supposed to. My father started this place, and I just sort of took over when he got tired of the daily grind. We don't have a big shiny sign outside, just a small one by the entrance. People find us because they’ve been coming here for twenty years. We don't use those corporate buzzwords you hear these days. We just talk about metal, tolerances, and delivery dates. Sometimes we stay late when a customer has an emergency. That’s just part of being a local business. We grab some food from the street vendors downstairs and keep going until the job is done. It is not always easy, but we enjoy the work.
