M B P Engineering & Fabricators

We are located at 329/330 on Git Road in the Udyambag area. It’s an industrial part of town, so there’s always the sound of machines and welding going on around us. Our workshop isn't much to look at from the outside, but we have our tools and our benches set up exactly how we like them. M B P Engineering & Fabricators is what it says on the sign, though we mostly just do the work and don't worry about the name much. We take on various fabrication jobs, mostly small stuff for other local businesses or people who need something specific built. There’s usually metal scrap piled in the corner and a bit of grease on the floor. It’s hard work, and the heat from the welding torches makes it even hotter during the summer months. We don't have a front office or a receptionist. If you want to talk to us, you just walk into the bay and find someone who isn't wearing a mask. We’ve been in Udyambag for several years now. The road gets muddy when it rains, which makes moving heavy parts a bit of a pain. We just focus on getting the measurements right and making sure the welds hold. It’s a simple living. Sometimes we stay late to finish a piece if someone is in a hurry. That's just how the work goes here. We usually clean the equipment on Saturday afternoons before heading home for the weekend.
