Precision Works

Shed No. C-120 is our home base. It’s right by the 2nd Gate of the Industrial Estate on Gokul Road. Precision Works is exactly what it sounds like, a small place where we focus on getting the details right. The shed is quite large, so we have plenty of room for our equipment, but it still feels full once we get a few big projects going. Being near the 2nd Gate is handy for trucks coming in and out. Gokul Road is usually busy, so there’s always a lot of noise from the traffic. We don't have air conditioning, so the big fans are always running in the summer to keep the heat down. We’ve got a couple of lathes and some other bits of machinery that we've had for years. They aren't the newest models, but they work perfectly for what we need. The floor is concrete and has some cracks, but it’s sturdy. Most of us have been working together for a long time, so we don't need to talk much to know what needs to be done next. We just show up, do the machining, and head home. It’s a practical life. We get a lot of walk-in work from other businesses in the estate who need a quick fix or a specific part made. We just do the work and keep things moving along. Sometimes the rain hits the metal roof so hard we can't even hear each other. We just keep our heads down and finish the job before the day ends at the industrial estate.
