Hotel Shri Ganesh Bhavan

We are located in Vithal Dev Galli here in Shahapur. If you know the area, we are right beside Gajanan Mithaiwala. It is a busy spot in Belgaum. Most days start early for us. We open up the doors when the street is still quiet. Our address is easy to find once you get into the lane. We’ve been here at Hotel Shri Ganesh Bhavan for a while now. The building is simple. We spend a lot of time cleaning the floors and making sure the tables are ready. People come in from the market or after visiting the shops nearby. It gets a bit noisy during the lunch hour. That is just how it is in Shahapur. Sometimes the smell from the sweet shop next door drifts over. We just keep things moving. We don't have fancy decorations. There are fans on the ceiling and basic chairs. It’s mostly locals who stop by. We know many of them by face. We handle the bills at the small counter near the entrance. It is a practical place. We don't try to be anything else. When the sun goes down, the street lights come on and we start winding down. It is honest work. We see a lot of people passing through Vithal Dev Galli every day. Some stay for a bit, others are in a hurry. We just stay busy with our daily tasks. We don't have a big staff, so we do most things ourselves.
