Hotel Shantipriya

We are located in the Morubed Complex right on the main road in Bailhongal. Since we are so close to the bus stand, a lot of our guests are travelers just passing through Belgaum or coming into town for a day or two. Hotel Shantipriya isn’t a fancy place with a lot of bells and whistles. It’s a simple building where we provide rooms for people who need a place to stay. Being on the main road means it's easy to get around, although it can get a bit loud with the buses and trucks going by. We don't have a big management team; it's just us looking after the place. We try to make sure the rooms are ready when people arrive tired from their journey. Bailhongal is a small place compared to the big cities, so everyone kind of knows everyone else. We value that local connection. Most of our walk-ins come from the bus stand looking for a quick spot to rest. We don't make big promises or use complicated words to describe what we do. We just provide a room and a bit of help if you need directions. It’s a straightforward business and we’ve been doing it this way for quite some time now. Some people stay for a week while others are gone by dawn. We treat everyone the same and just keep the doors open for whoever needs us.
