Our place is at House Number 179 in Bedkihal, which is a small part of the Chikodi area in Belgaum. It’s a quiet village where everyone knows what their neighbor is growing. We decided to focus on organic agro solutions because we saw how the soil was changing over the years. It’s a family-run sort of feeling here, even if it’s technically an LLP. We spend a lot of time in the fields looking at the plants and talking to other farmers about how to stop using the heavy chemicals. It’s a slow process and a lot of people were skeptical at first. The office is just a room in the house where we keep the records and meet people who drop by. Belgaum has decent weather for farming, but the summers can be tough on the organic patches. We don't have any big slogans or shiny posters on the walls. Mostly, there are just bags of organic inputs and some soil testing kits laying around. We try to be practical. If something doesn't work, we change it. It’s about being honest with the farmers who come to us for advice. We aren’t experts in everything, but we know this dirt and we know what it needs to stay healthy. Life moves a bit slower here in Bedkihal, and we like it that way. We just keep working the land and helping others do the same without making a big deal out of it.
