Vedamrutha Organics is situated out in Chikodi Taluk, right along Hirekudi Road. We are based at Basavanagalagadde, which is a bit of a mouthful to say if you aren't from around here. Our spot is at Sy. No. 283/2. It is very much a local Belgaum operation. Being out here means we are close to the land, which is exactly where we need to be for the organic side of things. It isn't a city office with glass walls; it is more of a practical space where we handle the crops and the paperwork. The air is a bit fresher out this way compared to the city. We have been working this patch for some time now. Dealing with organic products involves a lot of manual work and keeping track of the seasons. Sometimes the rain makes the road a bit muddy, but we are used to that. We don't have a big marketing department or anything. It's just us and the local workers getting the job done every day. People around here know where to find us if they need anything. We try to keep things simple and honest. The building itself is sturdy and does the job for storing what we produce. It’s a quiet life mostly, just focusing on the organic stuff and making sure the quality is what it should be without any fuss. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to grow things right and provide for the community through our everyday work.
