Indian Broiler Group

We are based out at 471, Basarkod, which is part of the Belgaum area. Indian Broiler Group is basically a poultry operation. It’s a lot of manual labor and long hours, to be honest. Our days start way before the sun is up because the birds need to be checked and fed early. The air out here is a bit different than in the city, and the sounds of the farm are constant. We have several sheds and a small building that serves as our main office for keeping the records. It’s not a fancy place at all. There’s always some mud on the boots and the smell of the birds is just something we live with. We handle the whole process of raising the broilers and getting them ready for transport. The trucks come in at odd hours to pick up the stock, so someone always has to be around to manage the loading. We work with a lot of people from the nearby villages. It’s a tight-knit group and we don’t really bother with any of that corporate talk. We just focus on the daily chores and making sure the feed is delivered on time. It can be stressful when the weather gets too hot or too cold, as that affects the birds a lot. We just take it one day at a time here in Basarkod, doing the work that needs to be done to keep the place running.
