We're a group of farmers here in Lokur. Athani is our area. It's mostly about organic crops and getting into biofuels. It wasn't easy setting this up. We deal with Mangsuli post office mostly. People here know us as Ujwaldeep Organic Agro & Biofuels Farmerproducer Company Limited. We spend our days out in the fields or checking on the biofuel projects. It's a lot of manual work. We aren't a big city firm with shiny desks. Just folks from the village trying to make a living through farming that doesn't ruin the soil. Sometimes the weather is against us, but that's just farming. We focus on what grows naturally. The organic side takes time, and biofuels are a new thing we are figuring out. Our office is simple, right here in the village. We talk to the neighbors every day. It's a cooperative effort. Everyone puts in their bit. We want to keep the land healthy for the next batch of kids growing up here. If you come by Athani, you’ll find us near Mangsuli. We’re usually busy with the crops or the machines. Not much else to say. We just work hard and hope for a good harvest every year. It’s a long road with the organic stuff, but it feels right to do it this way. That’s pretty much our life here. We just keep our heads down and work on the land.
