We start the day pretty early at Annapurna Apt. It is right across the street from Tulsi Rani School, so the mornings are always noisy with kids arriving and parents dropping them off. S.B. Gorai Road is a busy place to be in Asansol. Most of our day is spent at our desks, just working through various technical problems that come our way. We have been here for a while now and the office is nothing special. It is just a small room with some old desks and a few computers that have seen better days. Sometimes the power goes out or the internet starts acting up, but we just wait it out and get back to work when we can. We have some plastic chairs for when people stop by to ask us questions about their software or hardware. We don't have a big staff or any fancy coffee machines. Usually, we just get some tea from the stall down the road. The walls could use some new paint and there are usually piles of paper on the side tables. We spend a lot of time staring at screens and talking to each other about how to fix things. Sometimes we stay late when a project is giving us a hard time. It is a quiet life for the most part, besides the school bells. We just try to do our work and go home like everyone else.
