It’s a decent area, though it gets a bit muddy when it rains hard and the drains overflow. Our office isn't anything like those huge tech parks you see in the city center. It’s just a practical space where we handle software stuff for our clients. We have a few computers, some desks that have seen better days, and a lot of wires running everywhere. Usually, it's just the sound of typing and the ceiling fans humming along to keep us cool. Khardah is a quiet place compared to the main city, which we actually like because it lets us focus. Sometimes the neighbors pop in just to say hello or ask what we're actually doing with all those screens and blinking lights. We try to explain it, but mostly we just say we fix things on the computer. We don't have a big cafeteria or anything, so we usually go out to the local shops for lunch and a bit of gossip. It’s a small team, and we all know each other’s families by now. Working here feels more like a daily routine with friends than a big corporate job. We keep things simple and try to stay on top of the work we have. It’s not always easy, especially when the internet acts up, but we get by and keep moving.
