Somahore

Somahore is located on S.M. Bose Road in the Lahabagan area, specifically in Bhabanipur, Panihati. The pin code is 700114. It’s on the northern side of Kolkata, near the river. The office is in a building that has seen better days, but it’s sturdy. We’ve got a couple of rooms on the ground floor. It’s easy for people to find because we’re right on the main road, though the sign is a bit faded now. The area around S.M. Bose Road is always busy with local shops and people going to the market. I’ve lived in Panihati my whole life, so it made sense to start Somahore here. We do a lot of different things depending on what’s needed that day. The rooms are filled with old wooden cabinets and a few plastic chairs for visitors. It’s not a place where you’ll see people in suits. We usually just wear comfortable clothes and get to work. The humidity can be tough, so the ceiling fans are always on. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything. People mostly find out about us by word of mouth in the neighborhood. It’s a very local, down-to-earth kind of place. We take things one day at a time and try to stay on top of the work. It’s not perfect, and the walls are a bit stained, but it’s our space and it works for us every single day.
