Our place, Roop Beauty Saloon And Spa, is on the ground floor along Old Calcutta Road. We are right near the Milk Depo, which is a landmark most people in this part of Kolkata know. It’s not a big fancy spa like you see in the malls. We are just a local spot where people come for their basic grooming needs. We do hair, skin stuff, and some relaxing services too. The shop is kept as clean as we can manage with people coming in and out all day. It’s a bit of a mix here. Sometimes it’s very busy with women getting their hair done for a function, and other times it’s just someone coming in for a quick thread or a trim. We have some simple chairs and a small area for the spa treatments. It’s nothing too elaborate, just practical. The street outside can be noisy, but we try to keep a calm vibe inside. We’ve been at this location for some time now. People like that they don't have to travel far to get these things done. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who know how to handle the work. It’s a neighborhood business through and through. We know our regulars by name and what they usually like. It’s just how we do things here. We might not have the newest equipment, but we know how to use what we have to get things right.
