Partha Pratim Roy

You’ll find me over at 15, Choudhury Para Lane. It’s a quiet enough street in Kolkata 700056, right near the Belghoria Railway Station. Being that close to the station means there’s always the sound of trains in the background, which you eventually stop noticing. I’ve lived and worked in this area for a long time. My name is Partha Pratim Roy, and this is where I handle my business. It’s not a corporate office with glass walls. It’s just a room where I keep my books and my tools. Some days are spent meeting people who live nearby, and other days I’m traveling to different parts of the city. I don’t have a big staff or a fancy website. It’s mostly just me and a couple of people who help out when things get busy. The lane is narrow, so it’s better to walk than to try and drive a big car down here. I like the pace of life in Belghoria. It feels like a real neighborhood where everyone knows each other. I started doing this because I wanted to work for myself and stay close to home. It’s not always easy being the one in charge of everything. If something goes wrong, I’m the one who has to fix it. But I wouldn’t have it any other way. People know where to find me if they need something done. No frills, just honest work. I’ve been here for years and hope to stay.
