New Joymaa Tara Salon

New Joymaa Tara Salon is situated in Dakshineswar on R N Tagore Road. The pin code here is 700076. We are in a very old part of the city which has a lot of history and character. Our shop is quite small and sits right on the edge of the road. Because we are in Dakshineswar we get all kinds of people coming in. Some are locals who live just around the corner and others are people visiting the area for the temple who realize they need a quick trim. The shop is very basic with just the essential tools for hair cutting and shaving. We don't have any of those fancy chairs that lean all the way back or expensive shampoo stations. We just use a spray bottle and a comb like it has been done for years. R N Tagore Road is usually quite busy so there is always the sound of horns and people talking outside our window. Inside we just try to get the work done as well as we can. We have been here for a good while and the walls could probably tell a lot of stories if they could talk. It is a humble place and we don't try to pretend to be a high-end parlor. We just provide a simple service for a fair price to anyone who walks in. It is our way of being part of the Dakshineswar community.
