Joy Salon

Joy Salon is situated right in the Kadamtala Bazar area of Natagarh. If you know the market at all, you have probably seen our sign while doing your shopping. It is a very busy area because of all the different stalls and shops nearby. We get a lot of people just walking in with their shopping bags to take a seat for a quick haircut. We have a couple of guys working here who have been cutting hair for a long time. They are not the type to talk too much unless the customer really wants to have a conversation. We mainly do basic styling and shaves. The floor is often covered in hair because we stay so busy during the day, but we try to sweep it up whenever there is a small gap between customers. We have a tiny television in the corner that usually plays the news or some old movie to help pass the time for those sitting on the waiting bench. We are not trying to be a fancy place. It is just a spot where you can get a decent haircut for a fair price. The 700113 zip code is our home and we have seen the market change a lot over the years. Our little shop stays pretty much the same though. We like the routine of opening up, putting out the chairs, and waiting for the first person to walk in.
