His Gents Parlour

His Gents Parlour is right on M B Road in Birati. Our address is Kolkata - 700051, and we are very close to the Birati Mini Bus Stand and the Siddheswari Bazar. Because we are so near the bus stand, it is always noisy and crowded outside our door. People are always running to catch their bus or walking back from the bazaar with heavy bags of fish and vegetables. We get a lot of customers who just have a few minutes while they wait for their transport. They come in for a quick beard trim or to fix their hair before an appointment. The shop is small and the walls are painted a simple blue color that is starting to fade a bit near the door where the sun hits it. We have two main chairs and a small bench for people to sit on. There is always a newspaper laying around for people to read while they wait their turn. I keep the clippers clean and the scissors sharp. It’s a straightforward business. We don’t have a fancy menu of services. You just tell us what you want and we do it. The market area is always lively, so there is never a dull moment looking out the window. We’ve been here at M B Road for a good few years now and we know most of the bus drivers and shopkeepers in the Siddheswari Bazar area by sight.
