Gouris Salon N Spa

Gouris Salon N Spa is located at 63, R N Avenue. We added the "spa" part to the name a while ago, but we are still mostly a local hair shop at heart. The building is a regular one on a busy street. Inside, we have tried to make things a little more comfortable. We have some nicer chairs now and a place for people to sit while they wait. We get a mix of people here. Some just want a five-minute trim, and others want to sit for a bit longer and get a head massage or something else. It is a bit bigger than some of the other shops around, but it still feels like a neighborhood place. The staff are just local guys and girls who know how to work hard. We have a few bottles of different creams and lotions on the shelves, but we don't push them on anyone. It is up to you. The lighting is okay, maybe a bit bright for a "spa," but it helps us see the hair properly. R N Avenue is a good spot to be. We have been here for enough time that we don't need to shout to get attention. People just walk in when they need us. Sometimes we are very busy and the floor is a mess of hair, and other times it’s quiet enough to have a long chat. We just take it as it comes.
