Flora Ladies Beauty Parlour

We are located at 258, Station Road in Kolkata. Specifically, we are inside the Sodepur Super Market. This place is always crowded because of the train station nearby. I remember when we first got the keys to this spot; it was a mess. We cleaned it up and started doing hair and stuff for the ladies who come through the market. The super market is a loud place, you can hear the vendors shouting outside all day. It’s got a certain energy to it though. 700110 is our area code here in Sodepur. Being on Station Road means we see a lot of faces every day. Some people just stop in because they have thirty minutes before their train. We don't have any big corporate rules or anything like that. It’s just me and a couple of others working here. We use regular products you’d find at any shop. Sometimes the lights flicker when the power is low in the market, but we just keep going. It’s a busy life. My family lives not too far away, so I walk here most mornings. The shop isn't huge, but we make it work with what we have. People seem to like the convenience of being right by the station. We’ve been here for several years now, and the market has changed a lot. Flora Ladies Beauty Parlour is just a small part of this big busy area.
