Fairy Ladies Herbal Beauty Salon is located in Belgharia on Feeder Road. It’s one of those spots in Kolkata 700056 that has been around long enough for everyone to recognize the name. We focus a lot on using herbal stuff because that’s what we know how to do. The shop isn't very large, but we make use of every corner we have. It’s a place where women from the neighborhood come to sit and get their hair or skin looked at. We don't use a lot of those harsh chemicals you see in the big malls. Most of our regulars have been coming to us for years. We remember their names and how they like their hair done. It’s a bit noisy on Feeder Road sometimes, but we’re used to it by now. The chairs are comfortable enough for a long appointment. We keep the place tidy, though it’s clearly a working shop with bottles and combs everywhere. We aren't trying to win any design awards, we just want to do a decent job for the people who trust us. It’s a simple life, opening up and helping the ladies of Belgharia look their best. We’ve seen the area change a lot, but the shop stays pretty much the same. We take pride in being a small part of the local community for this long. Most afternoons are just spent chatting about family while we work through the daily list of things that need doing around here.
