B Mart Gents Parlour Saloon is located in Ghola Kadamtala, over in Sodepur. We are right on Chittaranjan Road in the Gouranganagar part of Kolkata, 700110. It’s a typical local barber shop. We’ve got the usual chairs and mirrors that have seen better days. The floor is almost always covered in a bit of hair because someone is always getting a trim. We try to sweep it up often, but it’s a losing battle during the busy hours. People from around Sodepur come in for a quick cut or a shave. We don't have any air conditioning, just a few strong fans that blow the air around. It gets hot in the summer, but nobody seems to mind much. We talk about the local news or whatever is happening on Chittaranjan Road. It’s a place where you can just sit and wait your turn without any fuss. The sign outside is simple, just says the name. We’ve been in Gouranganagar for a while now, and we know most of the faces that walk through the door. It’s not a fancy spa; it’s a parlour where men come to get cleaned up. We use the same brands of soap and cream we’ve used for years. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy. The 700110 area is our home, and we like the community here.
