Ananya Hair Cutting

Ananya Hair Cutting is located on M M Feeder Road in Ariadaha. It is a small place, really. We have been here for a while, serving the people around this part of Kolkata. It's just a basic shop with the usual stuff you find in a local hair cutting place. We don't have air conditioning or anything high-end, just a couple of chairs and some clippers. Most of the people who come here are regular faces from the neighborhood. It’s quiet on some afternoons, then suddenly three or four people show up at once. That is just how it goes. The road outside can get quite busy with traffic. We usually have the radio playing in the background or just talk about what's happening in the local news. We don't really do anything fancy, just simple cuts and shaves. It's hard work standing all day but it's what we do. Ariadaha is a nice area and we feel like we are part of the community here. If you are walking down M M Feeder Road, you will see our sign. It's not a big shop but we've got everything we need to get the job done. We try to keep things affordable for everyone. It is a simple life and a simple business. We are just glad to be here serving the local folks day after day. The floor gets swept a lot but there is always more hair to clean up.
