If you are looking for us in Sambalpur, we are easy to find. We are located in Sakhipada, right behind the Radha Krishna Temple and directly in front of St Jose Convent School. It’s a nice spot because you can hear the school bell and the temple sounds throughout the day. We’ve been here at Hindalco Industries Limited for quite some time now. Our day starts early, usually with a lot of planning and checking on what needs to be shipped or processed. It’s not a glamorous job, but it is important for the local economy here in Orissa. We have a small team of people who have been with us through thick and thin. Sometimes the roads outside get crowded when school lets out, but we don't mind the noise. It feels like we are part of the neighborhood, not just some cold corporation. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We work with metals, we manage the site, and we make sure the orders are correct. Our office isn't very modern; we still like our paper records and old desks. It feels more real that way. We don't have a mission statement on the wall, just a calendar and some photos. We just try to do right by the people who come to us. If you drop by, you might find us sharing some snacks or arguing over a technical drawing. It's just how we work.
