Our school is over in Kohara Peer, right near the Sood Daharam Kanta in Bareilly. If you know that part of town, you know it’s a lot of commercial activity and people moving around. The Dharam Kanta is a big landmark, so we usually just tell people to look for that. Three Dots is a name that people sometimes ask about, but it’s just what the school has always been called. The building is tucked into the neighborhood, surrounded by other local businesses and houses. It’s a bit dusty outside because of the traffic, but we try to keep the inside as tidy as possible for the students. We have classes for the local kids from around the Kohara Peer area. Most of them walk to school or come on cycles. It’s a very down-to-earth place. We have the usual wooden desks that have been used for years and the teachers use plain old chalk and boards. There’s no high-tech lab or anything like that, just books and a lot of studying. During the breaks, the kids go out into the small yard to stretch their legs. It can get pretty loud when everyone is out there at once. Bareilly is a busy city, and we’re just one small part of it, doing our thing day after day. We don’t spend money on fancy signs. People just know we’re here, and that seems to be enough for us and the families here.
