We are situated on Pilibhit Road in Bareilly. It’s a well-known area and easy enough to get to. The school has been around for some time, and we see a lot of different faces coming through the doors. The building is quite large, but it’s just a practical space for teaching. We don’t have any of those modern glass walls or anything like that. It’s mostly bricks and concrete, which keeps it cool during the Bareilly summers. Every morning, the buses line up on the side of the road and it gets a bit hectic. We spend our time managing the classes and making sure the schedule is followed. There’s always something to fix, like a leaky tap or a broken desk, but we get it done. The kids are just like kids anywhere else; some study hard and some need a bit of a push. We don't pretend to be anything special. We just provide a place for them to learn. During the break, the noise level goes up quite a bit as everyone heads to the canteen or the yard. We have a few trees around which provide some shade. It’s a very local feel here. Most of us have lived in Bareilly our whole lives, so we understand the people who send their kids to us. It’s just daily work, keeping the school running and the students moving forward. We just want to get through the day and make sure everything is okay.
