V.K Educational Academy

You can find us at Hanuman Garhi in the Maninath area of Bareilly. The academy is right in the middle of everything, so there’s always noise from the street outside. It’s a busy spot, and we’ve been here for a while now. We have students coming in for their classes at all sorts of times. The rooms aren't huge, but we make the most of the space we have with rows of desks and chairs. Some of the walls have old charts pinned up that have been there for years. We spend most of our day managing the groups and making sure everyone has their textbooks. The front door is almost always open, so you can hear the rickshaws and bikes passing by while the lessons are going on. It’s just part of being in this neighborhood. We don’t have a big fancy campus, just these rooms where the work happens. The teachers are locals who know the families around here, which makes things a bit easier. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just open the windows wider and keep going. It’s a simple setup. We focus on getting through the syllabus and making sure the kids understand what they’re reading. When the day is over, we tidy up the chalk dust and lock the gates before heading home ourselves. It is a regular job in a regular part of town, but it feels good to be here.
