Cambridge School

Cambridge School has been sitting here on Stadium Road in Bareilly for many years. We are right in the middle of a very active area, especially when there are games or events happening at the stadium nearby. You can often hear the cheering or the whistles from across the street. Our building has two floors and a small yard where the kids can run around a bit before the day starts. Inside, the hallways are narrow and the stairs are worn down from all the feet walking up and down them. We don't have a lot of fancy decorations, just the usual charts on the walls and some old wooden benches. The teachers usually bring their own lunch and eat together in the small staff room. Bareilly gets quite cold in the winter, so everyone comes bundled up in sweaters and scarves. In the rainy season, the road outside sometimes gets a bit of water standing on it, which makes it tricky for the parents dropping off their children. We just try to keep things organized and make sure the bells ring on time. It is a local school for the families living around this part of town. Most of us have been working here for a while, so we know the neighbors and the local shopkeepers. It is just a normal, everyday place where we do our best to keep the routine going for the children. We open early every morning to get things ready.
