Our place is located over at No.41, N.S.B. Road in Raniganj. Dealing with refractories isn't exactly a clean or easy job, especially with the heat and the dust that comes with the industry. We’ve been operating out of this district in Burdwan for quite a while now. The yard is usually full of bricks and materials waiting to be moved. It’s a bit of a trek to get out here, but this is where the work is. We aren't into making big speeches about what we do. We just make sure the furnaces get what they need to keep running. The office is small and often smells like damp paper during the monsoon. We have a small crew and most of them have been with us for years. They know the materials better than anyone. We don't use any high-tech marketing schemes. Most of our contracts come from people we've known for a decade. It gets loud with the trucks coming in and out, and sometimes the phone lines go down when the weather is bad. But we stay at it. Raniganj is an industrial kind of place, and we fit right in with the grit and the hard work. We just keep the production going and try to stay on top of the orders as they come in. It’s honest work and it fills our days. We are just regular people making bricks for high heat, nothing more.
