Our workplace is at Qr. No. Burns -1/6 in Burnpur. It’s a quiet little spot in the Burdwan district of West Bengal, pin 713325. We operate Jindal Stainless Ltd out of this quarters. It’s an old building, very solid and made of brick, which feels right given that we work with steel. The rooms are a bit small, and we’ve had to get creative with where we put our desks and the printer. There’s a bit of a garden outside that has gone a bit wild because nobody has time to weed it. We spend most of our time inside anyway, looking at charts and talking to customers. Burnpur is a place with a lot of history in the metal industry, so we feel right at home here. The air is always a bit heavy with the scent of coal and iron from the nearby works. We don’t have any fancy signs or shiny furniture. Everything we have is built to last, just like the stainless steel we sell. We usually bring our own lunches and eat at our desks while we work through the afternoon. It’s not a place for people who want a flashy career, but it’s a good place for people who value hard work. We just keep things running at Qr. No. Burns -1/6 day after day.
