Kundu Iron & Steel

Kundu Iron & Steel is located right on the National Highway at No. 34. We are very close to the Power House More, which is a major landmark that everyone uses for directions. Being right on the National Highway makes it a lot easier for the big trucks to get in and out with their loads. That is a good thing because iron and steel are incredibly heavy to move around. We have been at No. 34 for a long time now. It is a noisy spot with all the trucks and cars zooming past, but we have gotten used to the sound of the engines and the dust. It is a rough and tumble kind of business we are in. We are constantly moving heavy beams or large sheets of metal from one spot to another. It is definitely not the cleanest work in the world. Our hands and clothes are usually covered in grit by the end of the shift, but it is what we do. The Power House More is just a stone's throw away, so we get a lot of people stopping by who are just passing through the area. We are not big on corporate talk or fancy front offices. We just have a small desk for paperwork and a whole lot of steel piled up. My father started this business years ago, and we have just kept it going. It is solid work.
