Out in Haidergarh, near Ageghara, you’ll find Wise Agri Harvest Farmer Producer Company Limited. We are located at Suresh Chand's place, which is where we do most of our planning. This whole thing started because the farmers around Barabanki needed a way to work together instead of everyone doing their own thing separately. It’s a practical setup. We handle a lot of different crops depending on the time of year. Some days are spent looking at the accounts and others are spent talking to members about their harvests. We aren't trying to be some big city firm. We are just local people who know how to farm. The 225412 area is where we live and work every day. It’s quiet usually, except when it’s time to ship things out. We don’t have any fancy marketing people. We just talk to each other and get the work done. If someone has a problem with their yield, they come by and we see what can be done. It’s about making sure everyone gets a fair shake. The building isn't much to look at, but it serves its purpose for our meetings. We keep our tools and our records there. It’s a lot of responsibility to keep the company going, but it’s better than being on our own. We just keep our heads down and work.
