We are located in Rasoolpur, which is a part of the Barabanki district. You can find us at Smt. Raj Rani’s place. It’s a real rural setup, nothing fancy about it. We call ourselves Raingawan Agrotech Farmer Producer Company Limited because we try to use a bit of modern tech with our farming, but at the end of the day, it’s still about getting our hands dirty in the dirt. Barabanki has its own way of doing things. We have a lot of members now, all local folks from around Fatehpur. We started this because we were tired of getting a bad deal on our own. It’s much better to buy stuff together. We don't spend money on glossy brochures. Most of our talking happens while we are out in the fields or standing by the road. The sun gets pretty harsh during the day, so we try to get most of the hard work done early. Raj Rani keeps the records mostly straight. We have some small sheds for the equipment and bags of fertilizer stacked up. It’s a bit messy sometimes, but that’s how a working farm looks. We aren't pretending to be anything we aren't. We are just people from the village trying to make a decent living from the land. If the crops are good, everyone is happy. If not, well, we just try again next time. It's just the way it works here in Rasoolpur.
