Unitex Ceramics

Unitex Ceramics is located at Shop No. 2 in the Muni building, right across from the Tirupati Estate on Millan Cinema Road in Saraspur. The shop is usually filled with stacks of different tiles and samples leaning against the walls. It is a bit crowded inside because we try to keep a lot of variety on hand for whoever walks in. Saraspur is a lively part of town, and being near the old cinema means there are always people moving about outside. We spend most of our day showing different patterns to homeowners or builders who are trying to figure out what looks right for a bathroom or a kitchen floor. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a hard time backing into the spot because the road gets busy, but we make it work somehow. We have been in this same spot for a while, so the walls have a few scuffs from moving heavy crates around. It is a simple setup with a small counter where we write out the bills by hand. There is no air conditioning, just a ceiling fan that stays on all day during the summer months. People come here because they know we have been around and they can see exactly what they are buying before it gets loaded up. We just focus on keeping the shelves organized and helping people find a decent tile that fits what they are looking for without making things complicated.
