Maruthi Granites

Maruthi Granites is tucked away at No.23, right near the Mysore Mico Gate. We are in the Ayappa Garden area, which is part of Adugodi on the busy Bannerghatta Road. It is a very active part of the city, so there is always noise from the traffic and people moving around. Our yard isn't huge, so we have to be careful about how we stack the granite slabs to make sure there is enough room to walk. We have been at this address for a long time and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. The office is just a small room with a couple of chairs and a lot of dust from the stone. We don’t use any fancy systems here. Everything is recorded in books and on simple sheets of paper. Most of our time is spent out in the heat, helping to load or unload the trucks. It’s hard work on the back and the hands. We usually take a break in the middle of the day when the sun is at its highest. The tea shop around the corner is where we go to catch our breath. We aren’t a big company with a lot of departments. It’s just a handful of us making sure the business keeps running. People find us because we are right here near the Mico Gate. It’s a practical, local operation in Adugodi.
