Aditya Marbles

If you are driving down Sarjapura Road, you might have seen us at Aditya Marbles. We are right there at No. 33/2, near the turn for Carmelram Road. It is a busy stretch of road these days with all the new apartments going up around Doddakannehalli. We have a lot of stone slabs sitting out in the yard, mostly marble and some other varieties. It gets pretty hot out there during the middle of the day, but that is where most of the work happens. People stop their cars and wander in to look at the different colors and patterns. We usually just let them walk around and see what they like. There is a small office where we handle the billing and talk to the contractors. It is often a bit dusty because of the cutting and the wind blowing off the main road. We don't really do much in the way of advertising, mostly just word of mouth from people living nearby. Managing the inventory is a bit of a puzzle sometimes, trying to remember which slab came from which batch. We just try to get through the daily tasks of loading trucks and helping customers find what they need for their houses. It is a straightforward business, nothing too complicated about it. We just show up, move the stone, and talk to whoever walks through the gate. It is hard work, but we are used to the routine.
