Sri Tiles & Pavers

Down on Hennur Road, near the St Thomas Town Post, you will find our yard. We are at No.230, and we spend our days surrounded by piles of tiles and pavers. It is an outdoor kind of business, so we are always at the mercy of the sun and the rain. We handle all kinds of stones that people use for their driveways and paths. It is dusty work, and there is usually sand all over the place. We don't have a big office with air conditioning. We just have a small shed where we keep our records and talk to people who stop by. Most of our customers are folks from the neighborhood who are doing some work on their homes. They come in and walk around the stacks, looking for the right color or shape. We help them figure out how many pieces they will need for their space. It is a lot of counting and lifting, which keeps us busy from morning until evening. The traffic on Hennur Road can be pretty loud, but we are used to it by now. We’ve been here for a while and have seen the area change as more houses go up. We just keep doing our part, providing the materials that help people finish their projects. It is a practical business without any frills, and that is exactly how we like it. We don't spend money on ads because people just see us when they drive past the post office. It's how things have always been for us here and we like the routine.
