Our place is at No.141 on the 20th Main Road, right in the BTM Layout area. Specifically, we are on the 3rd Cross, 1st Stage, in the Mico Layout section. If you know this part of town, you know the traffic can be a real headache around the junctions. Somani Granites has been operating out of this spot for a good while. The granite slabs we keep are massive and they take up most of the space. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and moving things around with the crane. The office is small and tucked into the corner, mostly filled with folders and some old calendars on the walls. We usually have some tea around four in the afternoon when the sun starts to go down a bit. The street outside is always busy with people going to work or heading home. It feels like a very lived-in neighborhood. Sometimes we have to move our own vehicles just so a customer can park for a few minutes. It is just the way things go in BTM. We don't have any flashy signs or anything. People mostly find us because they live nearby or they’ve seen the trucks coming in. The floor of the shop is always covered in a bit of stone dust, no matter how much we clean. It’s just the nature of working with granite all day long. We keep things moving and stay busy with the orders.
