Skanda Granite & Exporters is on the first floor of the Sindoor Complex. That’s No.165 at Sarakki Gate, right on Kanakapura Main Road. Being on the first floor means we don't keep the heavy slabs right in the office, but we have our samples and all our records there. The Kanakapura Main Road is always packed with traffic, so there is a constant hum of engines outside our window. Sarakki Gate is a busy junction, which makes it easy for people to find the Sindoor Complex. We spend our days talking to suppliers and arranging for the granite to be moved. It's a lot of logistics. Skanda Granite & Exporters isn't a huge company with hundreds of employees. We are just a few people trying to keep things organized. The office is a bit small and sometimes the paperwork piles up on the desks. We try to keep it tidy, but when things get busy, it’s hard. We’ve been at this location for a while now and have seen the road change a lot. The Sindoor Complex is an older building, but it suits us just fine. Most of our time is spent on the phone or out at the yards checking the stone. We don't use any fancy sales talk. We just tell people what we have available and what the price is. It is just the way we prefer to do business at Sarakki Gate.
