Shreem Marmo LLP is situated on the 5th floor of the Giriya Embassy building on Sajjan Rao Road in V.V. Puram. V.V. Puram is a busy area, famous for its food and old buildings, so we are right in the middle of all that history. Our office is where we manage the marble business. We have a lot of samples of different marbles tucked into the corners of the room. It’s a bit of a climb if the lift is acting up, but the 5th floor gives us a bit of a view of the busy streets below. We spend our time talking to suppliers and coordinating with the yards where the actual marble blocks are kept. It’s a lot of paperwork and phone calls, making sure the right slab gets to the right building project. We aren’t a fancy corporation with polished floors; our own floor is usually covered in dust from the stone samples. We keep things pretty simple here. There are a few of us working at old desks, just trying to stay organized. Most of our customers are local builders who have known us for years. We don't do much in the way of advertising. We just rely on doing the job properly and being honest about what we can provide. It's a busy life in a busy part of Bangalore, but we wouldn't have it any other way. We just keep moving forward one day at a time, making sure everything is handled.
