Shree Ganpathi Granites & Marbles

We have been here at Doddakanhalli for quite some time now. Our place is right near the Wipro corporate office on Sarjapur Road, so it’s easy for most people to find us even with the traffic being what it is these days. The yard stays pretty busy with slabs of granite and marble moving in and out. Most days, you will find us just dealing with the heavy lifting and making sure the stock is where it needs to be. It gets a bit dusty around here, that is just the nature of the stone business I guess. We spend a lot of time showing people the different patterns in the granite. No two pieces are ever the same, which is something we see every single day. The sun beats down on the yard and we just keep at it. Sometimes people drop in while they are on their way home from work because we are so close to the main road. We don't have a fancy showroom with air conditioning or anything like that. It is just us, the stone, and the trucks. We keep a ledger of what comes in and what goes out. Some mornings start very early when the deliveries arrive. We just try to get the work done and go home. There is always a lot of heavy work involved in moving these marbles around. It keeps us on our feet all day long.
