S M Ceramics

S M Ceramics is tucked away at No.1069, on the 27th Main and 39th Cross in Jayanagar 9th Block. It is a nice enough part of Bangalore, and we have been here long enough that the locals know where to find us. We mostly deal with ceramic tiles and bathroom fittings. The shop isn't massive, so we have to be smart about how we display the different patterns. Sometimes it feels like a maze of tile boards. We spend a lot of time helping people figure out how many boxes they actually need for their small bathrooms or balconies. We’ve seen a lot of trends come and go, but people always seem to come back to the simple stuff. There’s a small area where we keep the catalogues, but most people just want to touch the actual tiles. We don't do much in the way of advertising. Usually, someone’s neighbor told them about us, or they saw our sign while walking to the park. The back room is where we keep the broken pieces and the half-empty boxes. It’s a bit of a mess back there, but we know where everything is. We try to keep things relaxed. If you come in, we’ll probably be drinking coffee or talking to a contractor about a delivery. It is just a regular shop doing regular business with the people in Jayanagar.
