Royal Watch House

Our small shop is at number 55 in the C T Complex over in Adugodi. It’s a busy spot with lots of people coming and going. We spend most of our time bent over a workbench with small tools and magnifying glasses. Fixing watches is what we do here every day. It is quiet work compared to the traffic noise outside on the main road. We see all kinds of watches come through. Some are old family pieces that stopped ticking years ago, and others are just basic ones that need a new battery or a strap. We keep a glass case full of spare parts and different bands. The shop isn't very large, so things can get a bit cluttered with all the tiny screws and springs we have to keep track of. We don't have a fancy website or a big marketing plan. Most people just walk in because they saw our sign or a friend told them we could fix their watch. It takes a steady hand and some patience, especially with the mechanical ones. We’ve been in this complex for a good number of years now. The light inside is a bit dim, but we have good lamps on the desks. We drink our tea while looking at the tiny gears and springs. It is a slow way to make a living, but it suits us just fine and we like the peace of the work.
