Citizen Watches

You can find us in the Safina Building, right on the corner where Commercial Street and Infantry Road meet. It’s one of those old buildings that everyone in the area knows. Citizen Watches has been a part of this spot for a long time. The Safina Building is always bustling with shoppers and people heading to work. Our shop is a bit of a refuge from the busy crowds on Commercial Street. We spend most of the day looking at watch faces and adjusting links. It’s quiet work, even though the street outside is anything but quiet. We have these glass counters that we’re constantly polishing because of all the fingerprints. Infantry Road is always packed with cars, so there’s a constant hum of engines in the background. We aren't a big corporate office; we’re just a local shop where we know how to handle a watch. Sometimes people come in just to ask for the time or to get a new battery. We don’t mind. It’s part of being in such a central location. The light in the Safina Building is nice in the afternoons, and we just keep at it until the sun goes down. We don’t do anything too fancy, just the basic work of keeping watches running and making sure they are set to the right time. It’s a good place to be, right in the heart of the action.
