Our office for Quartz Stone (india) Pvt. Ltd. is up on the eighth floor of the Barton Centre. Being right there on M. G. Road means we are in the middle of everything. It’s a bit different from a factory setting because it’s a high-rise building with lots of other businesses around. From the window, you can see the traffic crawling along below. We mainly handle the paperwork and coordination from here. When people want to talk about quartz for their projects, they come up to suite 812. It’s a practical space where we keep our files and meet with clients to discuss their requirements. Sometimes the elevator takes a while because the building is so busy, especially during lunch hours. We aren't a big team in this office, just a few of us making sure the supplies get to where they need to go. Working on M. G. Road has its perks, like having plenty of places to grab a quick tea, but it’s mostly just a place to get the administrative side of the stone business done. We don't have slabs of rock sitting in the hallway, obviously. It’s more about the planning and the phone calls. We've been in this spot for some time now and it works well for staying connected with the rest of the city. We keep a few samples on the desks so visitors can at least feel the texture of the quartz we are talking about. It’s just a normal office routine for us most days.
