If you find yourself near the Vijaynagar Club, you'll see us right across the way at No. 24. We've been in Hosahalli Village for a good stretch of time now. This shop is where we spend most of our waking hours, surrounded by blocks and slabs of marble. It’s a heavy business, literally. My hands are usually pretty rough from moving things around and checking the edges of the stone. We don't have any slick sales pitches here. People come in, they look at the marble, and they ask questions about how it wears over time. We just tell them what we know from seeing it used in houses all over Vijaynagar. The shop is a bit cluttered, I’ll be the first to admit that. We have stacks of marble everywhere and sometimes it’s hard to walk through the aisles without bumping into something. But that's just how a marble yard is. We know where everything is, even if it looks like a mess to someone else. We get a lot of locals who just want a small piece for a shelf or something bigger for a whole floor. We don't have a big marketing department or anything. It’s just us answering the phone and showing people the different veining in the stone. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. Being across from the club makes it easy for people to give directions to find us and visit the shop.
