Navakar Grenite & Marbles

If you know the Jigani area, you probably know it’s famous for stone. We are located right near the Jigani bus stop, which makes us pretty easy to find if you’re in the neighborhood. Navakar Grenite & Marbles is a typical local stone yard. We keep a variety of granite and marble slabs lined up for people to browse through. Jigani is a hub for this kind of stuff, so there are many of us around, but we just focus on what’s in our yard. Most of our time is spent showing people different blocks of stone and talking about which one might work best for a floor or a kitchen. It’s heavy work, and we rely on cranes and a lot of manual labor to get things done. The area near the bus stop is always buzzing with people and traffic. It’s not a fancy place by any means. We just have our rows of stone and a small desk where we handle the bills. We've been here long enough that we know most of the regulars. It’s just a matter of showing up every day, moving the stone, and making sure the customers get their slabs delivered without too much trouble. It’s a basic, honest way to earn a living. Sometimes the dust is a bit much, but that’s how it is when you’re working with natural materials in a place like Jigani. We just keep our heads down and get the job done without worrying too much about the noise outside.
