Our office for Alps Granite Pvt. Ltd. is situated at 6, Raheja Chambers, over on 12 Museum Road. It’s a central part of the city, which makes it easy for people to drop by, though parking is always a bit of a headache around here. The building itself, Raheja Chambers, has been around for quite a while, and our space inside is pretty straightforward. We keep stone samples on the shelves so people can see the colors and the grain of the granite. It’s not a fancy showroom with spotlights; it’s just a functional office where we do our business. We spend most of our time talking to suppliers and arranging for the granite to be moved from the quarries to the customers. The atmosphere in the office is usually quiet unless the phones are ringing a lot. We don’t go in for big corporate speeches or polishing our image. We just tell people what we have in stock and how much it will cost. Museum Road has a lot of history, and we feel like a small part of that by being in this old building. We have a few desks, some maps on the wall, and a lot of paperwork to deal with the private limited company requirements. It’s just a regular day-to-day operation for us. We drink our tea, answer the mail, and make sure the granite orders are moving along as they should.
