Maha Raasi Marbles

Our shop is located at No.26, right near Bharathi Theatre on Tumkur Main Road. If you know where Jalahalli Cross is, we are not far from there in T Dasarahalli. It’s a busy part of town with a lot of traffic passing by. We deal mainly in marbles and keep a decent variety in stock. The place isn't huge, but we make the most of the space we have. Working with marble is a bit different from other stones because you have to be careful with the edges. We spend most of our day moving slabs or talking to customers who walk in. It is a local business and we like it that way. No big corporate rules, just us doing our thing. Some days are long, especially when we are organizing the display. The theatre nearby makes it easy for people to find us. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything. Most of our work comes from people seeing the shop while they are out and about. We try to be helpful when someone has a question about a particular piece of marble. It is a practical job that requires some patience. We’ve seen many shops come and go on this road, but we are still here at our spot. We just keep doing what we know best, which is handling marble. It’s been our life for many years now and we don't plan on changing.
