Our place is over at No.A-343 in the Peenya Industrial Estate. Being on 9th Main means there is always something going on nearby. It’s a real industrial setting, so you’ll see lots of trucks and workers around. We spend our time managing the granite stock we keep on the premises. It is a straightforward business. We aren't big on flashy advertisements or anything like that. We just open up in the morning and get to work. Dealing with heavy stone slabs requires a lot of care and a bit of muscle. The 2nd Stage area is quite packed with various units, but we have our own space here. When someone drops by, they usually know what they are looking for. We show them what’s available in the stacks. Sometimes the weather makes it tough to move things around, but we manage. The office is small and functional. Most of the real action happens outside where the stone is kept. We’ve been part of this industrial community for a good bit of time. It’s not a glamorous job, but we like the tangibility of the materials. Every slab of granite has its own look, and that’s the interesting part for us. We just keep our heads down and do the work required to keep the yard running. It’s a bit noisy with all the industrial activity around, but it feels like home to us. We’ve been here for many years now.
